A trademark speaks for the organisation. It stands as an identity of the representation of the organisation. The trademark of your organisation is your property and it only belongs to you. The use of your trademark for any illegal reason gives you the right to take legal actions on the person.

After the company is started, it should register for a trademark. The Trade mark can be renewed after every ten years. The renewal of the Trademark time to time is very important. In case someone fails to renew within the six months of validity date, the owner of the trademark have to pay a late fee. After the expiry date the trademark holder will lose its trademark.

After the period of renewal is over, the owner can apply for the restoration of the trademark. The Application for the restoration has to be made six months to one year after the validity date

Form TM-12: This application form is needed when the renewal process is within the timeframe

Form TM-10: This application form is needed when the renewal process is carried within the six months before the expiration date.

Form TM-13: This application form is needed when the trademark is removed from the directory of trademarks. The renewal and restoration process will take place six months to one year after the expiration.
